Brigadier (Ret) Reggie Marimuthu has over 30 years of experience with the Investigation of crime. He has spent 25 years with the South African Police Services (SAPS). He has served as Head of Investigation in Pretoria and during his term, he investigated all types of serious crime.
During his term he received many commendations from Judges, the Attorney General and the Commissioner of SAPS. In 1994 he headed a team of SAPS members in Upington during the Presidential Elections as well as heading the security detail for Heads of States during the Presidential Inauguration.
He has visited many countries abroad, in terms of Investigative Good Practice. He was also a member of the SA delegation that attended the 65th International Criminal Police Organization (INTERPOL) World Congress in China in 1995. It was at this congress that South Africa was appointed a full member of INTERPOL. He was also the founder member of Southern Africa Regional Police Chiefs Cooperation Organisation (SARPCCO). He has a passion for all investigations. He has also been involved with many successful intelligences driven investigations.
